Hello, my name is Amy, and as a therapist, my goal is to support you in moving toward the life you want to create. I am here to help you claim joy, nurture meaningful relationships, and navigate challenges with resilience and self-determination.

I am mindful of how cultural and social narratives, as well as systems of oppression, shape experiences around race, sexuality, gender, body size, class, and ability. I work with people from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and members of the global majority, to create a space where your experiences are respected and your voice is honored.

I recognize the strength and wisdom that individuals carry in navigating life’s obstacles. My areas of specialization include supporting those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, gender dysphoria, and other concerns. I also work with couples of all orientations and relationship structures, helping them build connection, mutual understanding, and intimacy grounded in equality and respect.

My therapeutic approach draws from Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I have received training from the Humanitarian Assistance Program, EMDRIA approved, and am qualified to provide EMDR therapy to adults and children. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems, Level 3 from the IFS Institute.

Using the Internal Family Systems model, I guide individuals on a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing. We explore the dynamics of your inner world, recognizing that within you exist distinct yet interconnected parts, each with their own thoughts, feelings, and motivations.

I tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. I support you in reclaiming agency, processing past experiences, and building a life aligned with your values, your authentic self, and your vision of empowerment.
